Field Trip to Learn About Maple Syrup Production
Junior Kindergartners & Kindergartners Visit The Natick Community Organic Farm
Our Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes will be visiting the Natick Community Organic Farm on March 22 to learn about maple syrup production. Students will also see the Farm’s animals.
The Natick Community Organic Farm is a nonprofit, certified-organic farm providing productive open space, farm products, and hands-on education for all ages, year-round. Learn more here.
We will depart from Tobin Beaudet at 12:10 pm and return by 2 pm. We will travel via Sojourn Transportation, our regular bus company.
We will eat lunch at Tobin Beaudet before we depart for the field trip. However, please pack a simple lunch, as our lunch period will be slightly shortened to accommodate the trip.
WHAT TO WEAR
Students should dress comfortably in clothes that may get a bit dirty or smelly on the Farm. We recommend sneakers or rain boots that could get dirty or muddy. We also recommend layers as well as gloves/mittens, as the weather is unpredictable and most of the tour will be outdoors.
