Tuesday, April 17: On-Site Boston Pride Day, featuring Boston Marathon & Dana-Farber

Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Grades 1-2
12:30 – 3 pm
The children will celebrate the city of Boston and show support for the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge. The afternoon will be spent participating in activities that showcase our city’s rich history – a Boston sports obstacle course, paper mache “Make Way for Ducklings,” Paul Revere’s “playground” ride, and card making for Dana-Farber patients.
There is no fee for this vacation day; however, we kindly request a donation in the amount of your choosing to support the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge (cash or check written to DFMC).

 

Wednesday, April 18: Stuart Little at the Wheelock Family Theatre

Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Grades 1-2
11:45 am – 4:45 pm
Join us at the theatre to see E.B. White’s endearing, classic story that follows Stuart, a mouse born into a New York family, and his many “larger than life” adventures!
Please note that the last day to add this trip is Monday, April 9th. Fee: $27

Thursday, April 19: Life-Sized Board Games Day

Kindergarten, Grades 1-2
12:30 – 3 pm
Experience Tobin transform into a world of board games! The children will swirl through the Kindergarten room as they play life-sized Candy Land. The art room will host life-sized, “Tobin themed” Guess-Who and the Big Game Room will transform into Sorry!

Thursday, April 19: On-Site Visit from Puddlestompers

Junior Kindergarten, 11 am – 12 pm
The Junior Kindergarten children will have a special visit
from PUDDLESTOMPERS, a nature exploration group committed to connecting young naturalists to the outside! An engaging activity on seed growth will spark Junior-Kindergarten’s exploration of our outdoor space! Fee: $8.

Friday, April 20: Earth Day Celebration

11:30 am – 3:30 pm
 
Tobin will kick off Earth Day early by visiting Rocky Woods Reservation in Medfield. We will have a picnic lunch under the pavilion followed by a teacher-led hike! Fee: $10.
