Program Structure & Classroom Experience
- Consistent classroom placement: Children remain in the same classroom throughout the year, allowing teachers and children to build strong relationships and a sense of stability
- Annual classroom transitions: Children transition to the next classroom with their peer group each year rather than moving mid-year based on age cutoffs.
- Five-day enrollment model: Children attend Monday through Friday, creating consistency, predictable routines, and strong peer relationships.
Health & Safety Standards
- CPR and First Aid training for all staff: While the state requires only one certified staff member on site, Tobin Beaudet Schools requires every staff member to maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Annual recertification: Although state regulations require recertification every two years, our staff renew their CPR and First Aid certification annually.
Staffing & Educational Quality
- Lead Teacher in every classroom: While the state requires one Lead Teacher per program, Tobin Beaudet Schools has a Lead Teacher in every classroom.
- Teacher longevity and continuity: We prioritize staff retention and value long-term relationships between children and educators.
- Ongoing professional development: Educators participate in paid training and professional development opportunities, including programs offered through TECPA.
