Late Night to Benefit Dana Farber
Our team organized a late night for our students at Tobin Beaudet, complete with a movie – motivated by a very personal story from one of our own, Kaylin. All proceeds went to Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
We’d like to share Kaylin’s story with you:
In August 2017, my brother Patrick got married to his amazing wife, Amanda. After returning home from their honeymoon, one night of stomach pain ended with his diagnosis of stage IV colon cancer at 29 years old.
Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths, and it recently has seen a dramatic uptick in young adults. The amazing people at Dana Farber work tirelessly to help Patrick and thousands of others stay alive and well. This year’s Stay Late Night
will support research for prevention and cutting edge therapies for colon cancer.
